I have purchased 8 packages

"I have purchased 8 packages of the Insect Memory cards (3 from the Learning Shop in Madison Wi where I live and then 3 from Amazon when The Learning Shop no longer carried them. I used four decks in my 3rd grade classroom over the last four years during our science unit on "Insects". But the kids also enjoyed and played the Insect Memory Game during indoor recesses due to temps too cold or too rainy all during the school year. I had to replace the cards at the end of the year because they had been used so often that they were getting tattered (they are of great quality but young children often bend them, etc.), plus other teachers borrowed them when their classes were learning about Insects. I gave the other three as gifts to my young grandchildren and I keep a deck at home for when they visit. Just retired last year after 33 years of teaching. I would have loved having Memory cards for my students to reinforce the kinds of life in Prairie, Wetlands, and Rainforest ecosystems, as those are important Science units for 3rd graders in Madison Public Schools. Please think about developing those kinds of cards. FYI--good teachers hate cartoon characters versus real photos of living things."
